Every pilot knows how it feels when the weather finally gets better and you have a chance to be airborne.
It was going to be my first flight in 2023! I couldn’t believe it…
The sun was low at the horizon, and it was so wonderful to fly again.
Low clouds were close by, and sometimes the visibility wasn’t that good.
Flemming and I stayed close to Holbæk, my home airfield.
We enjoyed our local flight, and the sunset from air:
During the civil twilight time, we watched the clouds to become coloured pink:
In Holbæk, the lights from cars were becoming more and more visible, it was nice to watch all those changes.
After we landed, I did the paperwork when it was still relatively light.
My camera adjusts the light on pictures so well – when we were cleaning my Aeroprakt, it was dark and we had to wear headlamps, but you cannot see how dark it was on the photo:
