My OY-9797 was back in the hangar, and Lars kindly agreed to do release to service. We met in the hangar on a Sunday morning, 1st Advent this year.
I took the cowling off, and Lars began checking:
He went around, and looked at every important detail:
Everything was fine, and in the end I celebrated with a glass of pilot’s champagne (sparkling water):
Paper work in the club house, and a simple lunch:
When Lars left, I went back to the hangar, to work on my next NAWICO canopy cover – new customer, who ordered it, has been waiting:
It didn’t take long time – I just needed to double check the fit.
Later at home, I prepared salmon carpaccio – one of my favourite dishes, easy & tasty. And The Aviator was happy to spend the evening in my company:
Happy First Advent, everybody!
