Merlin in Holbæk

by Natalie Kjaergaard

I’ve missed flying. I haven’t been airborne for 10 days… And finally, today I could leave the office a bit earlier and go on a short local flight from Kræmmersten:

Løvenborg Castle on the way:

I flew with Vagn, and we landed in Holbæk. Vagn needed to talk to Niels:

Meanwhile, I explored one of the Niels’ aircraft – this beautiful Merlin:

It was very comfortable to seat in; it must be fun flying it. Whilst I was hanging around, Vagn waited for me in his Rans, checking email:

We did a round over the island of Orø:

Took some photos of the Holbæk – Orø ferry:

The air was quite misty, so we decided not to wait for the sunset from air, and headed back to Kræmmersten.

It was a short local flight, but as enjoyable as any other flight. We saw the same things (except for Merlin) we’ve seen many times, and  it was just so wonderful to be in the air again!
