Yesterday Roskilde flying club had its annual Christmas party. We met in the club house where we started from having drinks.
The club is located in Roskilde airport. After a recent refurbishing the facilities have become even better. It is very comfortable, beautiful, and with plenty of room for everyone.
Thomas, who organised the party, opened it by welcoming all and giving us some practical details. After that we went outside to the club’s flag where Poul had an annual speech – that’s a very nice tradition.
And the dinner began. We had our favourite Christmas dishes, and there was plenty to choose from.
It was very nice to meet with the members again, and to spend an evening together in such cheerful atmosphere.

Jeanette always prepares interesting quizzes. This time was no exception. We competed in teams, and the winner was Preben’s team. Here he receives the prize – a big basket full of delicious stuff.
It was a great evening where we were spoiled with good food and nice drinks, and were entertained by the members who prepared something special for us. The best thing was of course people – to spend such an evening with them was a true pleasure.
