Bingo!

by Natalie Kjaergaard

Tuesday evening members of Danske Flyvere and their companions met in the Frederiksberg Palace to play bingo. Søren, our chairman, welcomed all to the event:

Traditional Christmas dinner was served at the cafe before the game:

Tine and Søren, having ris a la mande with cherry sauce – traditional Danish Christmas desert:

After enjoying the delicious food, we moved to the main building of the Palace. An entrance room:

“The Rose” chamber was set up for the event:

There were lots of nice prizes – from exclusive chocolates to vintage port wine.

Almost every prize had a bonus gift – it was given to a person sitting next to the winner.

It was a great fun to play, and we were happy – also if we didn’t win anything.

Thomas with the duck he won – nice surprise for the family!

My friend Anne, who joined me for the occasion, won prizes in several categories. She had an unbelievable luck! Here I’m helping her to hold the things she won, and there is also a  heavy and fat Christmas duck in that plastic bag:

Lovely evening we all enjoyed very much, with good food, fun gaming, in a beautiful surroundings, and in a great company. Many thanks to Danske Flyvere for organising!
