Last Sunday Vejrø hosted a fly-in, and I got an invitation from Connie and Niels to join them. I said “yes” immediately – in their company any destination! We quickly reached the island:

Vejrø is a small luxury Danish island, living in a harmony with nature. Restaurant Skipperly on the photo below is a gastronomic gem with a “field to fork” concept.
We were picked up at the airfield in a mini bus, and driven to Skipperly where we started our lunch from a freshly made strawberry drink:
There were many guests attending the fly-in. Morten showed us his skills as a helicopter pilot:
Peter, a friend from Gørløse glider club, with Anne Mette:
After lunch there was a chance to go on a guided island tour, but Connie, Niels and I decided to go for a swim instead of, as we’ve been on such guided tours a couple of times before.

It was a warm, sunny, and pleasant day. Anne Mette and Peter before leaving:
Good bye, Vejrø! Till next time!
