In Holbæk flying club, we are expanding – a new hangar is being built on our premises:
I arrived when they just began digging. Historical moment, indeed!
My Aeroprakt was ready to be taken to the skies:
I had asked Boye to go on a flight with me – it has been a long time, and I was a bit nervous. I started the engine – the oil pressure was fine, and all instruments worked as normal:
We took off, and did some flying around our aerodrome. Boye is a very experienced flight instructor, from trike to GA aircraft.
The weather wasn’t very good, sometimes it rained or snowed a bit, but it was ok for a local flight.
After a couple of landings Boye left me – he also wanted to have a flight, and I continued flying alone:

Eventually, I landed, and soon Boye also taxied to the hangar in his beautiful KZ-III:
We put our aeroplanes into the hangar, and hurried up to the warm club house, where Anders had prepared some coffee.
It was a great day, and so nice to be airborne!
