The summer vacation is approaching and the last checks needed to be done.
Tyres pressure check is a kind of routine, but not the nosewheel tyre – it’s a nighmare! The problem is, you can neither remove the fairing, nor can you lift it up enough to get your hand under it (in order to connect the measuring instrument). But Flemming succeeded – he always does!
Vagn was also working in the hangar – it was good to see him after his flying trip to the UK.
After a couple of hours work, we had lunch with a stunning view of an advancing rain:
Flemming and I washed and waxed my Aeroprakt, and tried to put some of our stuff in. The tents fitted perfectly into the “overhead compartments”:

My OY-9797 was ready for the summer vacation. And where does the tour go? Well, we don’t know yet – where the weather is good, hopefully. Flemming has his preferencies, I have mine, and in the end it is the weather that determines our choices.
