I came to my flying club after work and decided to do local flying and practice landings.
First I flew north and had a look at Nakke – a half-island by Isefjord:
Then – Nykøbing Sjælland marina. It must be nice to live in such a lovely place:
A bright red poppies field somewhere on my way:
The psyciatric hospital of Nykøbing Sjælland, infamous for its “brainless cemetery” story which I described in one of my previous blogposts (click here to read more):
The weather was very nice, The Aviator and The Blue Bear enjoyed flying with me:
We said hello to the Torbenfeldt minor, a fine property from the 16th century:
Small pretty village nearby, with a church and a windmill – I often fly by, but can never remember its name:
I did several rounds over that charming boat in Holbæk fjord, trying to get a better picture:
Løvenborg Castle with its interesting history and ghost stories:

Brorfelde observatory, today a discovery center with focus on astronomy, geology and more:
I finished my flights for the day without waiting for the sunset – needed to get up very early the morning after.
I did 5 landings and some airwork, had good experiences flying locally, and was happy.
