Sunday morning Steen came by with freshly baked bread, and we had breakfast on the Ib’s terrace, with the view to the airfield and to the sea:
Ib has two cats, and one of them is very sociable. He stayed close to us whole weekend:
After breakfast, Ib showed us his collection of aviation related items. Among others, a certification of flying a Tiger Moth:
Besides being a private pilot and having a rich pilot life, Ib also travelled a lot around the world together with his wife. He collected almost all model aircraft of the airways they travelled with. It was an extensive collection:
In the afternoon, Flemming and I went to the beach again. Staying so close to the sea, it was impossible to resist a swim:
Flemming was snorkelling and filming the underwater life:
I did much needed after all those ice-creams and cakes exercises:
If you stopped in the water, lots of small fish would come and do a free pedicure:
Flemming looks so happy on the photo below, because he is going to eat his favourite candy:
Before leaving, I had a photo together with Ib and Steen taken:
We thanked them for the wonderful weekend and great company, and took off:
A round over Æbleø (Apple island in English):
Fyns Hoved from air:
Cleaning and refuelling in Holbæk, my home flying club:
And dinner at the doorsteps of the club house:
It was a fantastic weekend. Though we tried to make it as relaxing as possible, we managed to do lots of interesting things. Many thanks to Ib and Steen for the nice company!
