We saw an announcement of Wings & Tracks in Fagerhult (ESMF) during our visit to Nordvästra Skånes Flygklubb (ESMH) and decided to go. It wasn’t that easy to find practical info and where the ESMF was, as the flying club didn’t seem to have a web site. But the internet had an answer http://www.svenskaflygplatser.com/ap/fagerhult-esmf.php
After a short flight from ESMH in Höganäs we were approaching the Fagerhult airfield:
Wings & Tracks was hold on the 1st May 2016. There were lots of old tractors, military and construction vehicles, vintage cars, motorcycles, and different kinds of aeroplanes. It was very well arranged, the day was warm and sunny (compare to what we recently had in Denmark!), and we enjoyed being there so much that we prolonged our flight plan 🙂
Some of the tracks had enormous wheels:
It was great to see so many people attending:
The exhibition was quite dynamic: vintage car were coming and leaving, tractors driving around, motorcycles racing in the corner. I was nice to have a walk and see so many different things in one place.
I got permission to be photographed in an old military vehicle:
Even a sea plane was there!
It was nice to see that the old machinery could still be used:
Aeroplanes were coming and leaving, and one could see many different types there, and have a chat with their owners:
And of course it was possible to get a short flight as a passanger:
Wonderful arrangement – we hope to return next year!
