Yesterday the weather gave us a nice sunny break. Dan, Lennart, and I decided to go flying over Copenhagen.
After a short stop in Roskilde, we headed East. Fiskerihavnen to the left, and Sluseløbet is in front:
It is always fun to see cities from above.
Sydhavnen and Central Station (among other things) are on the photo below. The Central Station was opened in 1911, it has 7 platforms and 13 tracks. Sydhavnen is an area consisting of residential islands surrounded by canals.
The island of Nyholm – home to Naval Station Holmen, a tourist attraction with its beautiful historical buildings. The Naval Station Holmen was founded in the late 17th century, and played a vital role in the history of Copenhagen.
