The first person I met yesterday in Kræmmersten was Helge:
Helge is also a pilot, and it is his runways we are using there. I often go and see Helge’s other machines – it is always fun. We took off with Vagn, and went for a local flight. Torbenfeldt Castle (from 1577):

The sea fog was rolling out quickly to the land, and though the cloud mass was broken, we didn’t want to take any chances:
So we flew to Holbæk, and landed there to have a break. Michael in his gorgeous KZ-VII after a flight:

Several members were in the club, and it was nice to have a chat and a coffee with them.
We did a round over the Brorfelde observatory. They often arrange interesting astronomical events, and I love coming there:
It was a very cold afternoon, +2C and humid, but it didn’t spoil the pleasure of flying:

It was zero degrees when we landed. After a debriefing and a coffee with croissant for dinner in the hangar, we decided we need to warm up, literally. We called Tyrkisk Bad, a hammam spa in Holbæk, and booked a visit.
It is a very nice place, located outside Holbæk by the Roskilde Fjord. They have a huge open air jacuzzi spa where you relax in its bubbling hot water, enjoying the view over the Fjord or/and the starry night sky with occasionally high flying aircraft over your head. They have good quality tea (the fruit could be better), excellent facilities, massage services, saunas, outdoor cold water bath, and a big and cozy relaxation room with the view.
It was very pleasant to finish the long working week in a such relaxing way. When I drove back home to Copenhagen, I listened to a radio station that had a “Friday Night Fever” theme with some good dancing music. And my biggest hope was to get a parking place close to my home AND where I wouldn’t have to get up at 7 a.m. the morning after in order to move my car due to the parking restrictions. I get up at 5 a.m. on weekdays (living the principle “an extra hour in the morning gives an extra hour in the evening”), so when not flying during weekends, I want to get a decent sleep. I was lucky and got a good parking place. And now I can enjoy my weekend.
