Bad weather eventually reached Bornholm. It was going to rain whole day…
I had a day off, but worked a couple of hours in the morning. Around lunch time Henrik and I began looking for an in-door attraction we could visit.
We remembered, Lars recommended to go to Bornholms Tekniske Samling, a museum run by association of volunteers. Vi checked their website – it was open, so we drove there, and were warmly welcomed by the staff.
We thought we’d be there alone, but on a rainy day many got this brilliant idea to visit a museum.
Computers! The rack on the left is also a computer (for those who don’t know):
Music… Those cabinets must have been expensive at the time they were produced:
Lots of sewing machines…
But it wasn’t because of sewing machines we came there. It was Draken that attracted us. Henrik even climbed in:
The exhibited Draken was 15.35 m long, and 3.89 m high. Wingspan of 9.40 m, max speed Mach 2.
The museum was quite big, and had lots of stuff. Tractors lined up:
Fire brigade:
There were information boards, and one could read and learn many interesting facts.
After the museum, we did some grocery shopping in Allinge – the streets were empty:
I spend the evening working and preparing for meetings next day, and Henrik was reading.
