One of our club’ aircraft, AP22 OY-9465, rounded 1000 hours, and needed to be serviced. We agreed to do it over two working evenings, and met yesterday after a busy working week in our flying club in Måløv.
After a short planning, and playing a bit with the new tires, we were ready to start.
We were six pilots, all flying this particular aircraft. Everyone chose an area of maintenance to work on.
Anders, checking the wires in the cockpit:

Ulrik and Frederik, discussing air filters:
Bo took care of changing the nose wheel:
Together with Thomas they changed the tire:
And then mounted it back in place:

Thomas and Ulrik, chatting about something interesting:
After 3 hours of work we were finished with what we had planned for the day. We left the main wheels and engine for the next working evening which is again on Friday at 17:00 – join us! We promise it is going to be fun!
First when I got home I realized it was the international women’s day. One could say I celebrated it in a non-cliché way: working in a cold hangar together with fellow passionate pilots from my flying club. That is always rewarding, and I love it.
