Last Saturday we had a planned working day in Albatros, our ultralight flying club in Måløv. About twenty pilots met up. We had a chat in front of the hangar first, and when Lars, our chairman, arrived, moved to our club house.
Lars told us about the planned tasks for the day, and we quickly agreed upon how to share them.
Some of us cleaned the apron:
Others fixed the gate to the hangar:
Andreas and Thore dismantled the gearbox from one of our club’ aircraft:
And this is how a gearbox from an AP22 looks like:
Ove cleaned up and painted the runway markings:
Our grill should also be taken care of – otherwise there would be no food! Lesley and Anders made it ready just in time:
I did cleaning of our bathroom; this photo is just for fun:
When we were finished, Ulrik re-fuelled the aircraft he was going to fly later together with David, his instructor:
And then we had our grilled sausages:
Table for drinks and other good stuff:
Time for tall tales:
Probably not everybody is on the photos, though I did my best trying to capture all. When we finished with the food, Ulrik and David took off for training. They did their ground roll on the right side of the newly painted white marks on the runway:
One more nice day together, we all enjoyed!
