Pancakes on a Sunday morning

by Natalie Kjaergaard

There were several interesting events today in the aviation world close by, and Bo Rønnow’s pancakes fly-in was one of them. We call it Pannkosh; it is held on a last Sunday of each month in Revninge, on the island of Funnen. The airfield’s coordinates: N55.25 E010.40.

Vagn and I took off from Kræmmersten early:

The weather was beautiful, but a bit windy and cold. We crossed over the Great Belt strait in FL65, and the outside air temperature was only +4C. We could feel it in the cockpit!

The clouds were so nice to fly by:

Kerteminde city:

We were the first ones to land, and had a heart-warming welcome from Bo:

Soon many other aircraft landed, among them a KZVII:

Vagn opened the fly-in by making the first pancake, and I managed to catch him flipping it on a frying pan:

There is always a nice and relaxing atmosphere at Pannkosh; one meets pilots from different corners of Denmark. After spending some hours there, we moved on.

The views were magnificent; I took around 200 photos just of those lovely clouds.

Many thanks to Bo for keeping this great event running for more than 10 years now!
