Pancakes!

by Natalie Kjaergaard

Pancakes fly-in season opened Sunday 26th March at EKØF. About 20 aircraft met up.

We call it Pannkosh and Bo Rønnow is the man behind this event. Read more about Bo and Pannkosh here.

Low clouds in the morning caused longer waiting time before we could take off.

In Holbæk I picked up Vagn, my good friend with whom we’ve had many great flying trips together, and we headed for Revninge.

A humble picture of us landing in Revninge 🙂

Arriving to Pannkosh was like coming to a special event. Many happy pilots and their friends, hugs and smiles everywhere.

Anne, my best the one and only female pilot friend, was already there.

As usual, we had gifts to each other. Anne had beautiful flowers for me – she is always so attentive! Anne just bought a new aeroplane, a very nice A22:

Everybody was delighted to meet again.

I got permission to seat in Lars’ Roland 602 – it felt like coming into a luxury sofa 🙂 soft leather, comfortable seats…

We almost forgot pancakes, and had to hurry up eating them – the sun was going down.

Eventually it was time to say goodbye to all these cheerful people…

We flew over Storebæltsbroen and appreciated the beauty of our planet:

Many thanks to Bo for arranging this lovely fly-in!
