My OY-9797 rounded 400 hours, and it was time to do scheduled maintenance work.

I had agreed with Vagn that he would help me. The weather wasn’t very good, which we were happy about – nobody wants to work in a hangar instead of flying.

Flemming also gave a hand:

With some of the tasks we were progressing quickly, others took longer time.

I can never do everything alone on my aeroplane – I simply don’t have that much power, as men have, and without their help and experience I wouldn’t have come far – neither with becoming a pilot, nor with maintenance of my Aeroprakt.

We had nice working armosphere, with good laugh and time to have a smalltalk.

There were good discussions when checking ptocedures and instructons.

Vagn and I also met the following day and completed the remaining tasks.

We finished our second working dag with a lunch in the club house.

A couple of days later, at home, I examined the oil filter and the spark plugs again, and finished the paperwork.

It ws a good experience, and I learned new things.  Many thanks to Vagn and Flemming for their help!
