My Aeroprakt had its 3 years birthday last weekend, and I celebrated it in Viborg, a beautiful city in central Jutland.
Pre-flight check completed, and taxiing to the runway I had a pleasure of taking pictures of Henrik’s stunning KZII near the hangar:
The weather was very nice. Flemming joined me for the tour, and we appreciated the island os Samsø and the Stauns fjord from a slightly different angle on our way:

Before landing in Viborg, we did a round over the city:
Nobody was at the airport. We parked my OY-9797, and had a birthday photo taken:
A short taxi ride to the center, where we quickly checked in into our two-bedroom apartment, and went exploring.
The historical city centre of Viborg is small and charming.

We saw a building of an unusual architecture, and decided to come closer. There were no signs, and our best guess, it was an old archive:
On top of the entrance, over the clock, there was a kind of relief sculptute, depicting two talking persons on a bench. We saw the same relief on several sewer lids nearby:

We had the OY-9797 birthday party at “home”, because we thought it would be most relaxing:
I probably had too much champagne (compare to how little I normally drink), but we could stay in bed longer the day after, and it was ok to take it easy.
