Eslöv sommarkvälls flyin med Rasmus

by Natalie Kjaergaard

Yesterday Rasmus – a fellow pilot from my flying club – and I headed for Eslöv in the Southern Sweden.

We were one of the first aircraft to arrive:

On Thursdays during summer time there is a barbecue fly-in. Great food, parachute jumpers, welcoming atmosphere – and many people attend.

Here is the menu:

We were soon joined by our friends from Denmark – Anne, Max, and Morten:

Our aircraft. Anne’s AP22 was parked in a different corner.

Beautiful Saab 91B Safir from 1953 with a Lycoming engine:

After the fly-in Rasmus and I decided to fly over the Kullaberg peninsula. The sea was very calm:

Back in Denmark, we saw 2 hot air balloons, and flew around one of them:

It was a nice round-up for this beautiful day with many good experiences.
