The last day of our tour… Three awesome flying weeks…
It was a warm and sunny day. We said goodbye to Oehna, this friendly aerodrome with wooden huts and blooming trees.
The city of Brandenburg from air:
We were going to land in Neustadt-Glewe, for lunch and a break:
Beautiful view on landing:
An airworthy Antonov on the Neustadt-Glewe aerodrome:
Our break was a bit boring – a police helicopter landed; otherwise nothing was happening there. We took off again.
The city of Schwerin we flew by:
It was our last flight on this tour:
A part of Fehmarn island in Germany, just before reaching the border to Denmark:
It was getting warmer, with lots of mist in the air:
We overflew Kræmmersten before landing. I have indicated the runways with blue stippled lines, and the hangar – with the red arrow:
We landed over the tree tops, following by a deep dive that literally takes your breath away. The deep dive is necessary to land on this short runway.
It was +23C. When we took off for three weeks ago, it was damn cold; we even didn’t realise that the nearby field was the rapeseed – at that time there wasn’t any flowers on it, it was just green…
Helge – the owner of the airfield – came by when he saw that we landed. We had a cup of coffee together, and shared some stories from the tour.
